Cleopatra Enters Rome

The scene in the classic 1963 where Cleopatra (played by Elizabeth Taylor) enters Rome, just in case you fancy taking a break from playing Cleopatra II Slots.

In terms of financial payback, this movie is often regarded as the biggest ever loss maker in motion picture history.

But this is a truly classic film, although it nearly bankrupted 20th Century Fox.

The filming schedule was beset with problems, most noteably Elizabeth Taylor's health issues. It is perhaps most famous for Richard Burton and Elizabeth's explosive offscreen love affair that seepd through to their onscreen relationship as Antony and Cleopatra.

Rex Harrison plays Caesar (he got an Oscar nomination), Richard Burton plays Anthony and Elizabeth Taylor plays Cleopatra, of course.
